East Troy readies for race day

Written by

The Tour of America’s Dairyland competitive cycling event brings fast-paced fun to East Troy on Friday, June 22. The East Troy Cycling Classic begins at 10:35 a.m. and features about nine hours of professional cycling around the village square and surrounding streets.

The Tuesday Hike report by Jake Gerlach: This week we welcomed California Barbara back for the summer. There were 10 hikers ready for a good hike. I decided to hike the green Nordic ski trail, a 3.66-mile loop. One of the hikers was having some physical problems and decided to take the red trail for a 2-mile hike. Two of the regular hikers volunteered to make sure no one got lost. The remaining seven hikers did complete the entire green trail.
