LAKE GENEVA — Making the most of winter takes on a whole new meaning this week as 15 teams arrive in Lake Geneva to compete in the U.S. National Snow Sculpting competition.
The Tuesday Hike report by Jake Gerlach: This week we had a break in the weather and eight hikers showed up for our Tuesday hike. We started out on the connector trail and then turned left on the Ice Age Trail for our hike around Lake LaGrange. There was quite a bit of snow where the connector trail went through the woods. When we were in the open, the trail was often bare and muddy. At Ruth’s Point we caught a nice view of the setting sun and we noticed two fishermen way out on the lake.
